This is a card I created ( out of scraps), I do love my scraps! On this card, I'm especially proud of the little pleated flower in the upper left hand corner. I;m not sure the picture does her justice. The reason I;m so proud of her is that I did it completely with scraps and my score pal, and a little bit of liquid glass adhesive. There is a famous scrapbook artist in the industry that sells a cutting die for this flower and you get to do it in two sizes. If you use the technique I used, you can create any size flower and even have decorative edges. I did more of these and created some really fun edges. I will try to post a video later.
I want to get the most out of my supplies. I have been scrapbooking and paper crafting for twenty years. I have learned to scrutinize my purchases carefully, so that I get the most out of the money I spend. I have learned over the years what works and what doesn't. Sometimes when I see a new product or tool I try to figure out ways to do it with what I already have in my stash. Let's face it people, most of us have a lot of stuff. ( Not that there's anything wrong with that ).

fun fun fun with flowers
I made these beautiful flowers with circles of scrap patterned paper and CTMH ink, my resist mat and some liquid glass adhesivie. The shimmer is CTMH create a shade pearl paint. Found the flower centers in my stash drawer. Love these guys. They are fun and easy to make and they look so nice when they are finished . You could make them in any size, by just changing the size of your circles. I will try to post my first video later. I will show you how I made these.
