Tag inspiration

Saw my sis's tag post and it inspired me. Dug out some fun materials and played. Fun fun fun!
The color ready ribbon was very cool and create a shade paint with the re-inkers. Cut the tags out with my circuit. The rest is stuff from my stash. You girls know you have plenty of stash. I also used flower soft and sparkly fluff.

Oh Stella. I love your colors.

I had so much fun with this layout. Used lagoon for my background paper and one of the pp papers for the giant postage stamp background. I had so much fun with embellishments and layers. More hidden journaling.

Remember our snowflake paper

Still using those scraps. I can't believe how many layouts I've gotten out of that paper pack. Notice the snowflake. It has hidden journaling. I cut it out of chipboard first. FUN. Thanks sis for the Brain child.

Layout finished

Putting it into scrapbook.

Layout contd.

This whole layout is CTMH "love Potion" pp 18 &19 in Magic layout book. Having a great time with this new stamp set. Used it to add a little texture to a strip. Alternated first and second generation stamping on the petals. I think the colors and the corrugated cardboard makes the element go well on a masculine page. Did a little border with one of the petals. Made this little tag with "wonderful you" stamp set.

Page in progress

Using my clear ruler to place things. Dug out CTMH hemp. Used my texture plates and tiny stapler. I think they are both Tim Holz. Stamped on the cork letters with my new "Just For You" stamp set. CTMH Art Philosophy and of course INK.

What's on my scrapbook table right now.

In the middle if layout using CTMH Stella. Amazing colors. Love it! Broke out my stamping up background stamps. These are becoming a staple on my table. A little Colonial White and whatever color ink your using and you have great, interesting, textured backgrounds.

Flip Flaps. Gotta use them more.

Well I finished my neon page of Sarah's birthday. I will have to wait and share the whole page at a crop night because there are too many pictures of other peoples children I used flip flaps and got a total of 23 pictures on the page. Love love love flip flaps

This is another example of using my stamps and ink to create some fun page elements. Sarah's birthday this year was a neon dance party. I used black paper as my background and used my cricut to cut out coordinated CTMH shapes to go with my stamps. I did my stamping in bubble gum, citrus leaf and hydrangea. Created a sidebar simply by putting the banners together. No patterned paper at all on this one. The little pennants are fun because they have room for extra stamping or hand written messages.

One Sheet Wonder

I'm calling this the One Sheet Wonder, because I used one sheet of leftover paper from a favorite paper pack. Sometimes you get that favorite paper pack and you can't stand the thought of even wasting a scrap of it. You love the color combinations and the pattern of the paper and you just have to include it on another page. Thats when you dig out your stamps and use the inks that go with that paper pack. The beauty of the whole thing is that the industry has done the hard work for us. They have put together the perfect color combinations and in many cases have even developed a coordinating stamp set. Now our only job is to record our memories and have fun with product. Yay!!
Don't forget to Smell The Paper.
